3D Global Biotech and Japanese White Tooth Stand join hands to expand the sports orthodontics market.

According to The Insight Partners' research report, the market size of sports orthodontic braces was approximately $2.42 billion in 2021, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.8%, projected to reach around $4.96 billion by 2028.

Influenced by the pandemic, the importance of physical health among the Taiwanese population has been steadily increasing. As of the end of 2022, the Ministry of Education's Sports Administration revealed in the 2022 sports status survey that the proportion of the population engaging in sports reached 81.8%, with the regular exercise population reaching 34% for the first time since 2014. However, engaging in sports also poses a higher risk of sports-related injuries. According to a survey of emergency cases in Taiwan medical centers, the incidence of dental trauma is approximately 24% to 37%.

Recognizing this, 3D Global Biotech Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 6808) collaborates with WHITE LIGN Inc., a Japanese dental medical equipment manufacturer, to establish an advanced oral care platform. They have obtained exclusive distribution rights in Taiwan, providing customized oral protection services with the Smop55® Mouth Guard aimed at the vast Taiwanese sports protective gear market. This initiative aims to enhance consumers' awareness of the importance of sports protection, including potential dental injuries and the associated high costs of treatment. The two companies conducted a product launch event at the "2023 Taipei Dental Exhibition and Academic Annual Meeting" on March 18-19, 2023, and plan to introduce the latest generation of transparent orthodontic systems using the innovative high-performance composite material "WHITE LIGN Dental Sheet" to the Taiwan market, promoting optimal dental alignment and oral health products for the local population.

Complementing various orthodontic auxiliary products, the "customized oral protection" provided by Smop55® Mouth Guard is not only suitable for sports activities but can also be used as a night guard to prevent tooth damage caused by nighttime grinding habits. Additionally, it can be paired with 3D Global Biotech's "Daili Bai" DailyWhite teeth whitening gel for those with whitening needs while using braces or the "Good Period" Perio Repair gum care gel to reduce the occurrence of periodontal disease during orthodontic treatment, offering multiple layers of protection for teeth.

3D Global Biotech, backed by Diamond Biofund and jointly invested in by Taipei Financial Holdings, Fubon Financial Holdings, and E.SUN Financial Holding, is Taiwan's first high-tech biotechnology company specializing in 3D bio-printing.
